This table refers to the batter in his normal stance at the crease.
Question - Who can call a no - ball?
Answer - In all games of traditional and modified cricket ONLY THE UMPIRE AT THE NON - STRIKER'S END (the square leg umpire) is empowered to make the call. However it is common pratice for both the umpires to agree (before the game commences) on a signal that will be given by the square leg umpire to assist in making these calls.
