After two days of extreme winds and cool weather the boys from St Pats 12F (2) found the conditions tough going.  In the 1st innings the opening batsmen of Miranda 2 formed a solid partnership of 76 runs off the first 23 overs before losing a wicket. St Pats fought back strongly with Che Taylor (3/6), Kyle Hollands (2/12), and Liam Hindle (2/7) taking wickets in quick succession. 

 On the 2nd day St Pats began their run chase under damp conditions and they steadily built up their innings on the back of an outstanding batting effort by Che Taylor (29 runs). Towards the end of the match the result was still in the balance with the opposition team bowling very tight and St Pats maintaining a good run rate. Miranda 2 held on to win by 8 runs in a very close match.
