Day 1
After losing the toss St Pats were sent into bat on a very hot day. Both of the opening batsmen, Matthew Quinnell and Che Taylor, got the team off to a solid start. Nathan Waterworh, Connor Foley and Liam Hindle tried their best but were dismissed in quick succession as a result of some good bowling and fielding by the Como Jannali 3 team. Riley Tracey and Nick Manchester then steadied the team with some discipline batting. They both managed to keep the scoreboard ticking over with some smart running between the wickets along with scoring a number of boundaries.
Day 2
Despite some accurate bowling early in the day, lead by Kyle Hollands, Nathan Waterworth and Liam Hehir, Como Jannali began their fight back by delivering a strong batting performance throughout the remainder of their innings to just fall short of the required runs. Ethan Shiels kept his focus during the final overs to help St Pats score a narrow but tough win.
