Grant For Nets Approved

I received some fantastic news today from Paul McLeay MP (Member for Heathcote).

Paul advised that St Patricks Sutherland Cricket Club members & supporters provided enough votes to receive $30,000 from the NSW Community Building Partnerships grants, towards our Cricket Nets Project, to build two new nets at Waratah. We will now make plans for the project to be completed either in January or at the end of the season (subject to coordination of contractors, council & volunteers).

So thank you to the men who provided their votes in favour of St Pats by filling out forms over the week ending 12th Oct.

This will fund at least half the project costs. If you have any expertise in the area of concreting, drainage, fencing or are just able to provide a few hours of free labour we'd love to hear from you.

It is exciting for the Cricket Club to finally have success. Thank you again & thanks to Paul McLeay.
